He left the egg by his terarrium, cushioned in some tissues, and it sat there for a few days. Wondering if it would ever hatch, he was working on his homework when he heard the egg cracking. Slowly a three inch long lizard emerged from the shell. It was smaller than he expected, and the color was very surprising. It was silver, with an actual metallic sheen to the smooth skin. As he ran a finger over it, it cooed lightly.
"I bet you're hungry, let me go get you some food." Andy walked off to the kitchen and grabbed a turkey leg. He figured on eating it and giving a little to his new pet. Walking back in, his pet cooed again and he walked back over and set some of the meat up on the rock in the aquarium. He then gently lifted the lizard onto the rock and it started after the meat. Andy blinked as the meat was practically absorbed, and the lizard cooed lightly again. He smiled and put down a bigger chunk of meat, which the lizard took between its forepaws and rolled on its back to chew at.
Andy ate while the lizard did, chuckling as he saw a slit and now knew that his new pet was a girl. As she continued eating, he looked into the water. His turtle was swimming around after the new stock of feeder fish he had just bought. Dave wasn't doing too well in catching them as they zipped around. He saw a ripple of water from by the rock as his new lizard had dove into the water, swimming quickly about and after the fish.
He noticed something strange while she was swimming, she was cooing again. And the small fish were swimming head on at her before getting gobbled down. They weren't even trying to get away, and within a few minutes, all twenty-five fish were gone. And his lizard was now a full foot long! Andy wasn't quite ready for what happened next, as she swam up to Dave and cooed again, then opened wide and Dave swam right into her. Andy looked slackjawed as his new lizard grew again while beaching herself back onto the rock in his terrarium, licking her lips, and now a foot and a half long. He picked her up and set her back onto his desk, pacing and thinking to himself. He didn't realize that he set her right down next to the turkey leg, and she resumed eating.
His attention was brought back with a belch and the sound of more cooing. When he turned, his pet pounced at him and he caught her in his arms. "Oy! You're a hungry one. I'm going to call you Yorba." She cooed at him some more and he carried her off to the kitchen, setting her down by the fridge. Yorba sniffed the air as Andy looked through the fridge for more food to feed her. She looked downstairs and cooed again, followed by footsteps up the stairs as the family cat ran up and into Yorba. She waddled back to Andy with an open mouth and he started dumping the contents of the fridge into her. He smiled as his pet continued swelling larger while eating meats, fruits and vegetables. As he held a couple of bottles over her head, shaking out the contents, letting her lick the last bits of food out before tossing the jars aside.
As Andy closed the empty fridge and opened up the freezer door, Yorba nudged at his ankle. He pulled out a package of frozen ground beef, and set it down in front of her, but she cooed again. "Hmmmm, she doesn't like frozen food." thought Andy, so he went to the pantry and started opening up the boxes dumping all of the food into a pile for her to munch on. After that he opened all the cans and poured them over the dry goods, walking to open the door so they could head outside after she finished with the pantry foods.
Andy really had no clue why he did this as he stepped outside. Why was he feeding this creature. Before he mused long enough to stop, Yorba cooed at him again as she waddled outside. She was larger than an alligator now, over 8 ft long as she moved down the driveway. He hopped onto her back as she moved along, unsure of where she was headed. As she walked down the street, she continued cooing.
Andy was shocked at what her cooing caused. As she moved down the street, various animals lined up in her way. Yorba was devouring raccoons, squirrels, birds, dogs, cats, anything that got in her way. And she was growing again, broad belly causing her to swell longer as she devoured the living animals.
Andy was able to sit up on her back by the time she reached her destination. The local grocery store. After Andy hopped down, she reared up onto her hind legs, her cooing now more of a roar as she swayed back and forth in front of the store. She was much more imposing now, a bit over 20 feet long after she settled back onto all fours.
Andy wondered what that roar was about, but that question was soon answered as people started carrying food out from the grocery store. A few started to taking the food out of the packaging, but most moved back into the store to bring out more food. Yorba waddled over to the pile of food and began eating.
The store was stockpiled with a lot of food, Andy was left staring on in stupor as the shoppers slowly emptied out all of the food from the store for Yorba to eat. Once she had eaten every morsel, she reared up onto her haunches again, now over 50 feet in height, and she roared again. Andy expected her to begin eating the people, but instead people moved to their cars, and drove off.
Andy climbed back onto Yorba as she headed away from the store. This time he could tell she was headed to the outskirts of town. She curled up in a field and went to sleep. With his pet sleeping, Andy's mind was suddenly clear. He was confused as to what was happening here. Hours ago, a three inch lizard came out of an egg. This same lizard had eaten a large amount of food and animals, and now was 50 feet. He decided it was time to get the heck out of here.
Yorba grabbed him before he got far. She rolled over onto her back and gave him a lick. Andy thought he was done for, but Yorba sat him on her belly. She cooed lightly, and Andy's eyes went wide. He suddenly understood everything that was going on as Yorba imparted him with all of the knowledge of her mission. He understood the language of her coos and roars. He walked up to hug her thick neck and crawled onto her back again as she rolled over.
He sat between her shoulders, as the people from his town started out towards the field. She roared, and then opened her large mouth widely. The townspeople began filling her mouth with all of their food-stocks. As she was fed by the people, the animals from the surrounding area also filed into her growing maw. Tons of food and critters went down to her belly, and she grew all along the way.
Many hours passed, and at sunset every crumb of food in town was inside of Yorba. She was now over 200 feet long, and with a smile on her face she roared at the townsfolk. Each person headed back to their vehicle, all driving off into the night to different destinations. All except for Andy, who stayed by her side.
She looked down at him and cooed lightly again. She then turned around on the around so that Andy was staring at her rear, right under her slit. She lowered her tail down and he climbed into her warmth, confused but unquestioning of her will. Her muscles sucked him deeply inside of her, and they moved him around, covering him in a strange liquid.
This liquid was absorbing him and his life essence. And as it did, Yorba began swelling immensely. She was rocked around with pleasure, rolling around in the field as Andy was made a part of her. Growing and growing, she ended up over ten times larger before falling to the ground in the darkness.
Yorba was awoken at sunrise with a pleasant site. Her followers had returned with more bounty, raiding all the surrounding towns and convincing others to join in the cause. Mouth open wide again, food was dropped into her maw with construction equipment. Presses compacted it, cranes lifted it closer, and bulldozer crammed it in. Her legion of followers moved with precision, all combining their energies to the one goal of filling Yorba.
As the day moved on, more followers came, bringing livestock, thousands of cows, pigs and chickens to add to her bulk. Elevated paths were constructed to make feeding more direct, with conveyors to load all of the goods on. After this construction was completed, packages even came down from the air, precisely calculated at drop to land right on the conveyor.
Yorba swelled wider and wider, longer and longer, her mere presence on the ground causing her to sink into the soft earth below her. At sundown, she was 2 miles high. She reared up onto her hind legs again, bellowing loudly into the night sky. Her size, over 10,000 feet in the air, carried this across the globe. The people surrounding her headed out again, leaving her alone in the field.
Yorba clenched as her rear end tingled. She shook and squatted, until another dragon became crawling from her rear end. It had a golden sheen, and she turned around to cover it under her forearms to keep it warm.
"Hello Andy..."
"Yorba? What happened to me."
"You are now as I am. You are a dragon now, and my mate."
"But... why?"
"I couldn't stand to be alone here any longer. Especially because of what I'll have to do when they come."
"When who comes?"
"They're coming from my planet. I was sent here with three specially engineered siblings. My blue scaled brother was made to drink your planet dry of all water. My red scaled brother was made to kill and eat every person on the planet. My green scaled sister was made to devour all of your vegetation. Along with me, made to eat all of your food, we were sent to wipe your planet clean."
"So that's why you don't eat people?"
"Right, I wasn't made to. And really the whole process sickens me at this point. They will have a ship landing tomorrow, and I have to take care of it."
"So you're going to eat it?"
"No... you are." Yorba rolled over and lifted Andy up. She shoved his golden head into her slit, and Andy began lapping at her innards. He suddenly started growing larger and larger, until he was half her size.
Soon the sun was rising again, and followers from all over the world were filing in to feed her. She resumed eating, growing with Andy on her back. Mid-day, a ship descended from the sky. Yorba turned and cooed at Andy, and he hopped off her back to the ground as she ship landed.
Many dragons began filing out from the ship, all red in color. They ran through the crowds of Yorba's followers, devouring the humans. But Andy soon took to task, and he was able to devour them as he was much larger. One by one they were caught and devoured, with Yorba still eating all the while. Soon he caught them all and then went to the ship, chowing it down as well. He had grown many times larger from the dragon feast, now five miles long. But Yorba was again dwarfing him, as her meal from the combined efforts of the planet allowed her to swell to over fifty miles long. She cooed again, not even needing to rear up this time, she broadcasted to the world what had just gone on.
Now the citizens of Earth understood why she was sent here, and what she had just done for them. Day after day now, they continue to feed her, all harvests devoted to increasing her girth. Around the world, people now dedicate their lives to farming just to feed her insatiable hunger. And endless pipeline of food that she devours with her lover by her side, sunup to sundown. Earth's savior, once sent to destory, now being ever rewarded.
